Library Services:

Brief scope of the collection at Tredyffrin: 100,000 books, DVDs, books on CD and tape, music CDs for adults, teens and children. Reference collection includes Local History, Consumer, Health/Medical, College/Careers, Investment/Finance. Library subscribes to 200+ magazines and newspapers.

Tredyffrin has professional reference service and assistance available all hours the library is open. Wide variety of programs for adults, teens and children. Computer classes. Public meeting rooms. Photocopiers, printers and public fax machine.

Paoli has 27,000 books, DVDs, books on CD and tape, music CDs for adults, teens and children. Reference collection includes Local History, Paoli Rail Yard documentation. Library subscribes to 85 magazines and newspapers.

Paoli has a variety of programs and story hours for children; book groups, lectures for adults. Public meeting room. Internet and printers. Photocopier.

Tredyffrin Public Library offers high-speed connection to the Internet. The library has 22 high-speed, flat screen computers available to the public in the main library, plus five online catalogue stations. Downstairs in the Children's Library there are 11 public computers and one online catalogue station. There is also a 12-station computer lab for rent at Tredyffrin Public Library. Paoli Library has four high-speed computers for public use. Internet access is provided by the Chester County Library System’s provider Chesconet. Color and b&w prints are available at low cost.

Both libraries are equipped with a wireless network. Notebook/laptop owners are invited to bring their computers to the Library. At the present time, the Library can print only those documents downloaded to a flash drive.

Both libraries are handicapped accessible.

Directions to Tredyffrin Public Library:
From the west, follow Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue) east past the Devon Horse Show grounds and turn left onto Old Eagle School Road. Take Old Eagle School Road 0.7 mile to the first traffic light, and turn right onto Upper Gulph Road. The Library is 0.2 mile, on the right.

From Route 476 (Blue Route), exit at St. Davids onto Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue) west. Proceed west through Wayne about 3 miles and turn right onto Old Eagle School Road. Take Old Eagle School Road 0.7 mile to the first traffic light, and turn right onto Upper Gulph Road. The Library is 0.2 mile, on the right.

From Route 202 going north, exit at West Valley Road. Turn right at the traffic light onto West Valley Road. Follow West Valley about 2 miles up a long hill and down to a stop sign. Turn left onto Upper Gulph Road, and proceed through the traffic light about 0.3 mile. The Library is on the right.

From Route 202 going south, exit at Swedesford Road, just south of King of Prussia. At the traffic light, turn left onto Swedesford Road, and left again at the next traffic light onto Old Eagle School Road. Follow Old Eagle School Road 2 miles to traffic light at Upper Gulph Road, turn left. The Library is 0.2 mile on the right.

Directions to Paoli Library:
From the east, follow Route 30 west to the intersection with Route 252 (Leopard Road). Proceed 0.3 mile and turn left at Darby Road. Immediately turn right into bank parking lot. Walk up ramp to Library’s main entrance.

From the west, follow Route 30 past Paoli Train Station at South Valley Road. Turn right at the next traffic light onto Darby Road. Proceed 0.2 mile to the traffic light at Darby Road and turn right. Immediately turn right into bank parking lot.

From the west on Paoli Pike, turn right at the intersection with Route 30. Proceed 0.2 mile to the traffic light at Darby Road and turn right. Immediately turn right into bank parking lot.

From the north, follow Route 252 to Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue) and turn right. Turn left at Darby Road (0.3 mile), and immediately turn right into bank parking lot.

From the south, follow Route 252 to Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue) and turn left. Turn left at Darby Road (0.3 mile), and immediately turn right into bank parking lot.
