Children's Librarian Maureen Lok Retires from Tredyffrin Public Library
In her 27 years as head of the Children's Department at Tredyffrin Public Library, Mrs. Lok has inspired reading in thousands of children in Tredyffrin Township, some of whom are now married and have children of their own. Over nearly three decades, she has read tons of picture books to toddlers, met lots of authors and illustrators, organized countless craft projects for school-age kids, and welcomed many storybook characters to the library from The Cat and the Hat to Maisy the Mouse. Through many years, she has danced, sung and laughed with the children at Tredyffrin Public Library.
The staff, volunteers and trustees of the library are grateful for her years of dedicated service to the children of the township. We will miss her creativity and warm heart. Thank you, Maureen Lok!
